Controls & settings

More FPS adds interpolated geometry frames during compatible gameplay. Game logic stays at its original speed. Movies, doors, menus, changed geometry and slow frames use original frames. May show interpolation artifacts or increase GPU load, heat and input latency; slower devices may lose FPS. Disable if unstable. Textures, resolution and filtering stay unchanged.

16:9 crops vertically and follows the player during gameplay. Doors and interaction prompts stay wide; prompt text stays visible without moving the camera crop. Inventory, pickup and item-box screens use complete rearranged layouts with proportional text and items. Item-box lid animations stay wide. Map/file selectors and zoomed maps use the wide menu frame; document pages stay centered with proportional lettering. Options, movies, save screens and scripted cutscenes keep 4:3. Loading filenames disappear without covering the game with a bar. Renderer changes apply next launch; Vulkan is unavailable.

Joystick uses the original tank movement. Use arrows in menus switches to a D-pad for inventory, title and options screens. Edit touch layout lets you move and resize each control. TURN turns 180° during normal movement. Use in-game Options to change game actions.

Touch button behavior

Choose Hold or Toggle for each button. Toggle stays pressed until you tap again and glows amber while active. Menus use ordinary taps. Opening settings, entering or leaving menus, hiding controls and leaving the app release toggles. TURN always acts once per tap; joystick movement stays held.

Controller bindings

Bluetooth and USB gamepads use the left stick or D-pad to move.

Startup log & diagnostics
Connect a Bluetooth or USB controller in Android settings.



Save backups
Back up your saved games or move them between Android and browser editions. Return to the launcher and close other game tabs first. Export or import a ZIP containing savedat1.dat through savedat8.dat. Original USA GOG saves use the same files: ZIP them to import here, or extract an exported ZIP into your PC game's SAVE folder. Keep a backup of any PC saves before replacing them.
